Dnevnik is a regional daily newspaper based in Novi Sad, Serbia, serving as a prominent source of news in the Vojvodina region. Established on November 15, 1942, during the Axis occupation, it was originally named Slobodna Vojvodina and functioned as the publication of the provincial people's liberation board for Vojvodina. The first issue was produced in an underground printing house in Novi Sad. On January 1, 1953, the newspaper adopted its current name, Dnevnik. As of 2016, it had a circulation of approximately 8,000 copies. The publication covers a wide range of topics, including politics, economy, agriculture, society, and education, and maintains an online presence through its website, dnevnik.rs.
