Kurir is a Serbian daily tabloid newspaper based in Belgrade, first published on May 6, 2003. Founded by businessman Radisav Rodić, it emerged following the closure of the daily Nacional during the state of emergency after Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić's assassination. Kurir is known for its sensationalist and populist content, often aligning with the ruling Serbian Progressive Party. Over the years, it has undergone several ownership and editorial changes. As of January 2019, the newspaper is owned by Adria Media Group, under businessman Igor Žeželj. In addition to its print edition, Kurir maintains a strong online presence through its website, Kurir.rs, which ranks among Serbia's most visited news portals. In 2023, Kurir expanded its media reach by launching Kurir Television, further solidifying its influence across multiple platforms.
